Jennifer Prymula started the company in 2004. With a background in travel & tourism ( her college internship was at Walt Disney World, Florida) she wanted to share her passion for travel with others, while providing superior customer service. Jennifer found that working on vacation packages with a romantic flair was fun and exciting. "Finding the perfect location and resort for my Honeymooners and  Destination Wedding couples is very fulfilling. I love planning special suprises such as a marriage proposal, or a private picnic at a waterfall, candlit beachfront dinner or a group excursion for destination wedding groups! I enjoy hearing about what a fantastic time the couple had, and how the resort was perfect for them! David Prymula, co owner- 

David is an Assistant Dive Instructor along with his Dive Master, Wreck Diver and other technical diving specializations. David offers a variety of dive and snorkeling packages ranging from recreational beginning diving, to advanced shipwrecks and everything in between.

His other specializations include Sandals Certified Specialist~ David is also one of 21 travel agents nationwide to complete the Sandals and Beaches Resorts Destination Wedding training! David is a Phillipine specialist, Princess Cruiseline specialist and enjoys booking cruises, all inclusives and groups.

Maureen is a Riu Ocho Rios bride has been with Sand & Sun Vacations since spring 2008! She's assisted many happy Destination Wedding brides & Honeymooners have amazing experiences in Jamaica, Mexico and Aruba!

Maureen lives in Southern New Jersey  heads the Sand & Sun Vacations New Jersey office." I was married at Riu Ocho Rios, Jamaica in 2007. We had 60 guests and everyone had a great time. So I know what it's like to be both a destination wedding bride and a destination wedding travel consultant! I worked for a very large leisure travel company on the East coast for years and now I am happy to join the Sand &  Sun Vacations team so I can do more of  what I really love...helping brides plan their big day or their honeymoon in a beautiful tropical location. "

We are thrilled that Jill has been part of the Sand & Sun Vacations team since spring 2008 and has assisted numerous brides to have an amazing Destination Wedding & Honeymoon throughout Mexico & the Caribbean! Jill lives in Massachusetts with her husband, Steve and daughter, Hailey and heads the Sand & Sun Vacations Mass. office.

Jill was also a Destination Wedding bride at the beautiful Dreams Cancun! So as you can imagine her specialties are Dreams Resorts, Secrets, Zoetry and NOW resorts. Jill also specializes in Royal Cancun & Royal Playa Del Carmen, Gran Porto and Palace Resorts!

Judith White, Travel Consultant -

 

Sand & Sun Vacations is pleased to welcome our newest team member -Judith White! 
 
Specialities: Honeymoon planning with an emphasis to all inclusive resorts/ luxury resorts/boutique properties in the Caribbean and Mexico.  
 
" I started doing travel around 1989 or so and went back to college and earned an Associates Degree in Hospitality Management.I worked in a few resorts and then changed directions and now I am a Certified Destination Wedding and Honeymoon Specialist as well as a Luxury Travel Specialist. My real passion comes from my desire to help create the type of honeymoon experience that couples dream of.  I am totally dedicated to provide legendary client service and I have a focus for honeymoons/weddings in the Caribbean and Mexico although I do other and all destinations.  Because of the scope of travel, I think it is a distinct advantage if I have a niche market to whom I can concentrate and serve more specifically.  I am from Jamaica so I know the country very well.  I travel yearly to the destinations that I specialize in. I think that certainly adds trust and credibility to the relationship we establish with couples since we can relate better to their needs and match them with the resort that will give them the best experience.
As a native of Jamaica, I was surrounded by the beautiful scenery and absolutely stunning views of the lofty mountains and beautiful fauna. At an early age, I developed an appreciation for the exotic, unique and the out-of-the-ordinary hide-away. As a young adult, my dream was to see as much of the world as possible.
   
With my degree in Hospitality Management and several other certifications in the travel industry, I am now able to use my education, passion and experience to create amazing honeymoon experiences or destination weddings for couples who have dreamed about this special event and are ready to see the manifestation of this dream.
Before I became a travel consultant, I experienced and saw my son & his wife go through the same disappointments that many couples do when they do not use a professional.  I did not have my own dream wedding and my son had a very disappointing honeymoon. I didn’t have a lot of the current resources at the time of my wedding and through the years I would look back and say “I wish I had known, I would have done my wedding so much differently”. Then when my son was getting married, my daughter-in-law was gracious enough to include me in her wedding plans-talk about a second chance! I was able to lend her some advice on things I didn’t do well with my wedding. Their wedding was magical. We forgot one tiny detail though. The honeymoon! We hired a wedding planner but not a honeymoon planner. Too late we realized that even though we could look through the most amazing travel magazines and call upon friends and family members we really needed someone to whom they could articulate their dream honeymoon to and then leave the stress of planning behind and show up and have the most amazing honeymoon ever.
As I've worked with dozens and dozens of brides and their families, I found that many brides and grooms are very unaware of the details of honeymoon planning. And now, I’ve discovered all sorts of amazing ways to work with brides and their families around the world and that feels awesome to be able to help so many people plan and design their dream honeymoon!"

We're in need of experienced Independant Contractors for leisure travel -- both land and sea. Special consideration given to those in the Grand Rapids/ Kalamazoo and surrounding areas.

 

Required:

 

Ability to work independently under minimal supervision, to build excellent customer relationships via phone and email.

  • Experience with Destination Wedding's, Honeymoons and Group travel
  • Experience & desire to travel
  • Must have both the geographic and vendor knowledge be able to guide prospective leisure travelers to areas and resorts that will delight them.
  • Must have strong computer capabilities, including experience with major wholesaler Web-based booking engines (e.g., Travel Impressions, GoGo, VAX, Apple.) . At least 3 years experience required.
  • Required: outgoing and pleasant phone manner, good written skills
  • Preferred: dedication to professional development demonstrated by earning accreditations, for example, through CLIA and/or The Travel Institute.
  • Must live in the continental United States, have own computer and high-speed Internet connectivity. 
  • Available at least 30 hours/week
